The SloPay database of companies is created solely by registered members, thus guaranteeing a high degree of credibility. The information shared on this website is strictly for members only and is not to be discussed with non-members for any reason.
Customers have trained many of us in the nursery industry to accept their slow payment practices. It is time to make a change and train the customers. While slow pay companies may never be eliminated from this industry, our members have made the decision to begin to eliminate business transactions with companies not committed to mature and credit worthy business and payment practices.
Members can search for specific companies by company name and/or owner name to see if they are likely to pay on time or even pay at all.
Registered members contribute to the SloPay database by posting information of their experience with slow payment customers who did not meet the payment terms or their experience with non-payment customers.
Members can:
- Add comments and/or post complaints about customers.
- Save time, money and headaches by being pre-warned and well-informed.
- Participate in an open forum, accessible only to SloPay members, allowing members to stay in touch with other members who are tired of shipping product and not getting paid; asking questions and sharing information can also help in the recovery and prevention of bad debt; and the open forum is also a great way to share information, collection strategies, or the whereabouts of old bad debt customers.
